Dyle is the Toon who controls the Gardenview Train Center. He treats everything very seriously and views everything in a professional light, including fellow Toons, whom he perceives as fellow colleagues rather than friends, unlike most of the other Toons.
Being raised to supervise the train, Dyle, unlike the other Toons, never participated in the show. This seemed to make him very lonely, which led him to ask Arthur and Delilah if he could be in the show, but this never happened. A character never seen within the show of Dandy's World. The one who operates and oversees Gardenview's transportation. He's seen the outside..
Dyle's name is a pun on the word 'Dial', and his last name, Timesly, is a pun on the word 'Time' or 'Timely'. Dyle is likely the Toon that gives Dandy Items for his Elevator Shop, as Dyle would have been the only one able to even get Items outside. Dyle owns a white flip phone as seen in his room on the Dyle Map and in the "Downtime with Dyle" animation by Qwel.
Dyle has an understandable hatred towards Shrimpo, to the point where he sometimes conspires about putting him on the trains and "kicking" him out of Gardenview. Dyle does not like physical contact, especially when unpermitted, and therefore finds it hard to be around Goob because of his spontaneous hugging. Dyle may have a fear and/or dislike of snakes, based on his gossip with Teagan.
Twisted Dyle is a special Twisted found exclusively in his Floor upon picking the TIME'S UP card. Without player intervention, he is very slow and will patrol like any other Twisted. Originally, Twisted Dyle did not have a limit on his speed, this led to him being nerfed at the time of development. According to Qwel, he got so fast that he started flying out of the map.
Twisted Dyle's snake-like design and sound effects are most likely a nod to Dyle's disliking towards snakes, as seen in his gossip about Teagan. The hissing may also be a nod to his interest in trains, sounding like that of a steam engine, not just a snake.
